‘Beyond Scary’: Massachusetts Loses Track of Almost 1,800 Sex Offenders

Massachusetts, United States (Sputnik) – A state auditor has found that 1,769 sex offenders registered in the state of Massachusetts are unaccounted for, their whereabouts unknown. Of that number, 197 are classified as having a high risk of repeating their crimes at some point in the future.
