Marine Corps Colonel One of Hundreds Arrested in Florida Prostitution Bust

Florida, United States (Sputnik) – A US Marine Corps (USMC) Colonel was among 277 people arrested as part of a massive sting operation to break up a prostitution and human trafficking ring in Florida, reports the Tampa Bay Times. Col. Kevin Scott was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution, a misdemeanor. Scott was one of the hundreds arrested in “Operation No Tricks, No Treats,” a sting carried out by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. The 51-year-old colonel allegedly attempted to solicit sex work for $80 from an undercover detective, and he also drove a government-leased car to the meeting place. Read More

British Photographer David Hamilton Dies Days After Being Accused of Sex Crimes

British photographer David Hamilton, known for his works depicting nude teenage girls, has committed suicide in Paris, French media report.

Hamilton, 83, was found dead in his apartment in the French capital on Thursday night, daily Le Dauphine Libere said, adding that reportedly it was a suicide.

The body of the photographer was discovered by his neighbor, the newspaper said.

Meanwhile Le Parisien said that Hamilton’s body was discovered on Friday night, by his cleaning lady. The newspaper said that there was a plastic bag on Hamilton’s head and that it could be a suicide.
